| Children's Ministry- First Baptist Children's Center Preschool license# 300600310 After-School license # 304270123 The Children's Center was founded in 1960 and has served the children of the church and community with loving, quality care since that time. The school has classes for preschool, kindergarten and an after-school program for students up to the age of thirteen. Christian curriculum is taught and children's chapel is provided weekly. School age summer camp, Christian camp and Easter camp are weeks of special interest which are also provided for the students. The center is a member of Association of Christian Schools International. Click here for more information about the Center Missions Our church has supported America For Christ, One Great Hour Of Sharing, World Missions, Ministers & Missionaries, Souper Bowl, Who's My Neighbor and missionaries both nationwide and abroad. American Baptist Women's Ministries Our ABWM is a member of the Santa Ana Valley Association with a purpose to help women and girls become vital members of the Body of Christ. With our faith in Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit the ABWM provides opportunities for women and girls to be discipled for spiritual growth, developed for leadership, and equipped to share God's love in the local church, region and beyond. All women and girls are invited to participate in American Baptist Women's Ministries. Meets every 4th Wednesday of the month. Chancel choir is conducted by Ted Storm and accompanied by Vladimir Medel If you want to join the Chancel choir, rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Daytimers The Daytimers is a group of Church members who love to fellowship with one another. Jesus commanded: “Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends”. John 15:12 - 13 We believe Christians should be encouraged to enjoy the company in a wholesome Christian way. We do a lot of fun activities! Once a year the leadership team meets and makes long range plans and programs for the year, that is, from October to June. By the way, Summer time is a break time for the Daytimers! The program starts in October with various types of daytime activities such as; breakfast outings, picnic in the park, excursions to Knott's Berry Farm, Harbor Cruise, etc. As usual, events would not be complete without homemade potluck or catered lunches. Lunch in the Fireside Room starts at 11:45 A.M. The Fireside Room in the Church is the favorite venue for shows and entertainments.
